Kailyn the 5 year old

Kailyn has been trying new things and of course we are very proud. She is reading pretty well now and recently discovered that she can write. It is still very inventive spelling but if you think about it phonetically, you can usually tell what she is writing. She is also very into her dance class. She is in a beginning tap class that is a blast to watch. Here is a video of her class last saturday.

She is also reading up a storm. This is a video of her reading her favorite book. It is one that Uncle Ronnie and Auntie Heather got for her last year on her birthday. After I took this video she said, "I love reading!" That made my mommy (and teacher) heart very happy. I hope she always thinks that!
